Work

Since 2017, I have been leading teams of senior engineers and designers to produce high-visibility products. I have engaged with a diverse range of projects, goals and clients. Through it all, I have delivered products that solve problems and produce results.

  • Merck - Website Redesign

Merck is a $25 billion German multinational science and technology company. They needed to redesign their website to reflect the new branding and recent organizational restructuring.

I led a team of designers in creating design guides, library, and modular assets for their primary marketing website in addition to 60+ country-specific websites. I planned the roadmap and ran agile sprints with senior developers to restructure their website, migrate their CMS to Adobe Experience Manager, and deliver new site features.

  • Texas DMV - Mobile App

The state of Texas began an initiative to start digitizing government services. The first step in their efforts was to create a mobile app for the Texas DMV.

I collaborated with the Texas government to create technical requirements, agency constraints, and a product roadmap. I then led a team to design, develop, release and update the Texas DMV mobile app on a strict delivery timeline.

  • Sxm2
  • Sirius XM

Sirius XM is a $25 billion American broadcasting company. They were seeking to evolve their business away from cars and towards digital interactions.

I conducted user research, then created an analysis of target markets and business opportunities. Next, I created product epics that supported my recommended business strategy. Then, I worked with designers to mock up features that aligned with those epics, presented them to clients, and prioritized the features along a three-year roadmap.

"Josh is a superstar"

Josh is a superstar. From Day 1, he hit the ground running with a "can-do" attitude. No problem was too complex to be solved. He's a strong leader - both providing the team direction and supporting them throughout the way. He's a quick learner, was unafraid to roll up his sleeves to get his work done, grasped complex technical concepts, and asked questions / posed thoughts that pushed us all to be the best versions of ourselves.
